Vocational & Habilitation

MARCA Industries’ vocational and habilitation services are an inclusive, person centered program designed to help adults meet their personal goals. Our vocational services include meaningful work opportunities to help people learn job skills, work responsibilities and to help them transition to jobs in the community. We meet each individual where they are and work towards a goal that is meaningful to them. Our staff teaches these skills in a variety of ways including hands on learning, on the job training, and employment classes.

Our habilitation services are also approached with person centeredness. Not everyone we work with is employment ready and that is OK! Habilitation services look different than our vocational services. Habilitation services focus on life skills. These skills can include day to day activities such as meal planning, cooking, personal safety, number skills, health and nutrition, etc. Our staff teach these abilities to the folks they work with through a variety of teaching methods. This can include hands on instruction, real life examples, using technology to teach curriculum, etc. The goal of these services is to help people live their life more independently and to thrive within their community.
